WHIP'S TOUR 1969-1970

Bruce Whipple served with E/2/506 101st Airborne.
He was on Fire base RIPCORD. He left the fire base a few days before the Chopper Pad explosion that resulted in the evacuation of the fire base. There were many men who gave
their lives to defend the fire base during those perilous times.
This is his Tribute to all of them, which includes a Special Memorial.
This is Bruce's way of giving back, and keeping the memory of those
brave men in the forefront of peoples minds.

Since meeting Bruce in 2005, he has become a very close, good friend.
He has graciously brought his Mobile Museum to the Berkley High School, Berkley MI.
These photos are a montage of what the students are able to see, feel, touch, and wear.
His "Hands on" Museum is to my knowledge, the only one of it's kind.
It gives those who were not alive at the time or those who were not involved, a glimpse of
the "world of the Combat Solider" and what he endured.

Enjoy the photographs taken on the occations, when Bruce has visited Berkley High School
